Live Blues Music at Murphy’s Law II with Blue Whiskey

Live Blues Music is alive and well in Midlothian VA! Yep.. Blue Whiskey cleared the table and chairs and cranked up the amps for their guests and fans at Murphy’s Law II this past Friday night. The people there are great and the service is fantastic. Everybody was dancing and have a good old time as Blue Whiskey belted out the live blues music that is not all that easy to find in Chesterfield Co.
BTW… I hear that the kids are calling it ARRESTafield Co. I don’t blame them I got a ticket that night on the way home.
Blue Whiskey will be Rocking the Blues at Arizona Joe’s in Mechanicsville next month. Opening for them will be The Velvet Nines and everybody knows what happens when these two bands get together…PARTY!!!
So check the Blue Whiskey schedule and come on out for some live blues music that you won’t soon forget.
Help Promote Blue Whiskey and Local Music

There are a number of ways that you can help promote Blue Whiskey and in doing so you would be helping to promote local music. The best way to help is to invite your friends and come to a show. We realize that you may not be able to come to every show that we do so just come out whenever you can. Some of you who are fans of the band just live too far away to make it to any show. Thanks to current web technologies and applications like Facebook, Blue Whiskey has fans in Australia, Estonia, the United Kingdom and Sweden as well as fans all over the United States.
If you have a facebook page, MySpace page or your own blog or web page you can help promote Blue Whiskey. All of the Reverb Nation widgets on our Official web site can easily be shared by clicking on the share button on whichever widget you think would go well on your site. You can also go to our Reverb Nation Profile and look for the widgets or banners that you can post to any web page including MySpace and Facebook. Of course the more that see and hear our music player the better and keep in mind that the music players come in all shapes and sizes.

Its Official – Mike Potestio Now Plays a Stratocaster

Yes folks its true, Mike Potestio of the Richmond based Blues Band Blue Whiskey, was seen this past Friday at The Capital Ale House playing his newly purchased Eric Johnson Signature series Fender Stratocaster like the one pictured here
It is rumored that Mike sold a couple of his dearly loved Gibsons to attain the addition to his growing stable of guitars. David Moody, lead singer for Blue Whiskey and one of the original founders of the band was quoted as saying “That thing sounds awesome, its definitely the shiz-nit”
Blue Whiskey will be playing at Murphy’s Law II in Midlothian on Friday March 28th @9 PM. You can check out Mike and the smooth sounds of his new guitar, along with the rest of the band.
Overtime Bar and Grill- SHUT DOWN

It has recently come to my attention that Overtime bar and grill has shut their doors for good. I have to say I am disappointed, I really liked the place. thy were getting some really good bands in there like Crushed, Velvet Nines and Sweet Justice.
The nights that I was there the place was packed. Everybody seemed to be getting their drink on and there were plenty of hot country girls shaking what their mommas gav’em with each other.
Blue Whiskey was scheduled to play there but alas we got caught in the mix and obviously wel will not be playing there.
Farwell Overtime bar and Grill, thanks for the memories.
You gotta love chicks in boots dancing with each other.. Ok maybe its just me

Great News for Blue Whiskey.
We have booked our first 2 gigs and will be kicking butt, taking names and generally having a hell of a good time with all of our friends at the Playing Field.
